Earlier this year, Janal & Devin tied the knot with a ceremony at the Christ United Methodist Church and celebrated the happy occasion with a reception at the Halekulani Hotel! With two locations, two sweet parent dances, and two fun wedding games this wedding was truly "TOO" cute!
The wedding day started bright and early for Janal and her bridesmaids with a knock on the door from our APD team at 6:45am! When assisting with the “getting ready” portion of the wedding day, we always meet the Bride at her hotel room to double check that she has every piece of her attire, the items that she wants to be photographed, supplies for the reception, and really anything and everything she needs for the big day!
The next few hours went by quickly as the couple, the bridesmaids, and the groomsmen were all busy getting dressed, posing for photographs, and opening wedding party gifts!

At noon it was time to get ready to go to the church for Janal & Devin to get married! As the wedding party and all of their guests made their way to the ceremony venue, the vendors at the church were working hard to decorate the site while the halekulani staff began setting up the ballroom. Then at 2pm on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in April the ceremony began and Janal & Devin were pronounced husband & wife!
Following their sweet ceremony the couple took photos with their family and friends at the church then headed back to the hotel to continue to take so many gorgeous wedding photos around the Halekulani property. Then at 5pm the ballroom doors opened and it was time for the wedding reception!
Janal & Devin’s wedding reception was the perfect balance of super sweet holding back your tears moments and incredibly fun can’t stop laughing moments! One of the sweetest moments of the reception was the father/daughter and mother/son dances, and one of the moments that had all of the guests laughing and smiling was the couple playing the shoe-lywed game! It was a truly wonderful night to celebrate the marriage of this happy couple!
