Since I had an all day wedding on Saturday and an early morning wedding on Sunday, I reserved a hotel room at the Hilton Hawaiian Village for my husband and son to enjoy and so I had every minute possible to sleep 🙂 . After Kelli & Nick’s wedding, I changed clothes and got to enjoy the rest of Sunday with Mike, Bodhi, and Bodhi’s Uncles and cousins!

We milked our stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village by swimming in the pools and riding the slides all morning with Mary & her family then leaving the hotel room with 3 minutes to spare. Once we left the Hilton, we treated ourselves to the “BBQ Stick Man” that my husband mentioned is always busy and crowded on weekends…so being that it was a Monday, we took a chance and were VERY happy to be able to enjoy such AMAZING food! If you EVER have a chance to go, I HIGHLIY recommend it! It is SOOOOO YUMMY and the beef is SOOOO SOFT!
As I waited for our food, I took the opportunity to take a quick picture
OMG! SOOOO GOOD my mouth is watering just posting this picture!!!
Then upon arriving at the Crack Seed store (for icee floats) my husband got a picture of Bodhi enjoying his beeg stick 🙂
When possible, I would recommend a “staycation” to anyone!
This was my FIRST time going shopping for the crazy deals on Black Friday! It was a last minute decision that Mary and I decided to take our chances and see what deals we could get and how much fun we could have doing it all!
Our FIRST stop…Toys R Us! I still can't believe the line went AROUND the BLOCK and snaked around AGAIN!
I must say…that even though there were SO many people, Toys R Us really knew how to prepare and handle the crowd! GREAT job to Toys R Us!!! Mary & I BOTH got some REALLY good deals especially since we made it in with the first batch of customers to enter!
Next, we rushed to WalMart even thought we had just heard some crazy stories of the year before…
here is Mary after she managed to get 1 DVD player for each of us! OH MY GOSH…SHE REALLY WORKED FOR THESE! I am SO glad Mary was there with me. Although we waited for HOURS, we managed to make friends, enjoy coffee, and get some good deals.
Unfortunately, I MUST say that it was just a matter of time that someone would get hurt at WalMart. It almost seemed like they wanted people to fight or get out of control. Luckily, Mary & I got out safely…WHEW!
After WalMart, Mary & went to a number of Office Max shops but missed out on getting the laptops we wanted…so we made our last stop at Target. Here I am happy to be DONE and ready to go home, take a shower, and get some SLEEP 🙂
This Wednesday, Mary & I will be at the JW Marriott Ihilani to help showcase their newly renovated reception option. along with showcasing the Ihilani, attendees will be provided with lunch and a lot of useful information from some amazing wedding professionals. If anyone is looking for a location for their event and would like to attend this event (Registration from 9:30am and Ending at about 2:00pm), please contact me (497-3339) as quickly as possible. Please stay tuned for pictures of what I am sure will be a great event!
This was an AMAZING event hosted by The Kahala Hotel showcasing their property and their recommended vendors!
We were truly honored to not only be a recommended vendor of The Kahala Hotel but to have had the privilege to be a part of such a great event. Here are some pictures I was able to take…
Here is Joseph of Florist Grand completing the finishing touches of the display I had requested from them. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH to Florist Grand for such a beautiful arrangement!!!
Here is 1 picture of the other ballroom designed with a Moroccan theme by Naomi Lee of Les Saisons and Evan Morita of Florist Grand…isn't this just amazing!!!

One of the biggest surprises and my favorite part of this event was when Vicky & CJ offered to and did our hair and makeup! Here is Mary getting pampered
and here I am! As anyone who knows me is aware, I am not the hair and makeup kind of person so this was truly a treat! THANK YOU Vicky & CJ!!!

at the end of the night, although Vicky had left, since CJ was there, Mary & I got to take a picture with her and thank her for their amazing work! I also got to give her the hotel room number for our wedding the next day 🙂
On Tuesday, October 20th, I made my way to the JW Marriott Ihilani at 10:00am to have a GREAT breakfast and begin planning the upcoming event at the JW Marriott Ihilani.
The event will be held on Wednesday, November 11th for couples who are still looking for a location to hold their upcoming wedding at. If you are interested in attending, please contact us ASAP so that we can reserve space for you.
Since I got there early, I had a chance to take some pictures of the Ihilani to share on my blog
Here is a view of the newly renovated pavillion at the Ihilani that the event will be centrally located inand another view…

my breakfast…it was SOOO YUMMY! This was my FIRST time eating eggs benedict and I am now looking forward to my next 🙂
After breakfast, Renee Borges and Terry Hyden took us INTO the pavillion to see the space we would be working with.

Then Renee took us up to the President's suite where we got to enjoy this AMAZING view!
Here I am dreaming of the day that I will get to stay in this suite. Oh..and as you can see, you CAN have a SMALL/INTIMATE event here (for about 30 people)
